Article 1 - Purpose

These Terms of Use (hereinafter "Terms") define the terms and conditions for using the services offered by Mathflow AI SAS (hereinafter "MATHFLOW") on its mobile application and web platform accessible via mathflow.ai and mathflow.fr (hereinafter "the Platform").

By accessing the Platform or using the services, the user accepts these Terms without reservation.

Article 2 - Description of Services

MATHFLOW offers a math learning application using artificial intelligence to provide a personalized experience. Services include:

• Personalized learning paths
• Interactive exercises and quizzes
• 24/7 AI coach
• Progress tracking
• Challenges and competitions between users

Article 3 - Access to Services

Access to the Platform is open to any individual with full legal capacity to commit to these Terms. Minors may use the Platform under the responsibility of their parents or legal guardians.

Registration is free. Some advanced features may require a paid subscription (Premium offer).

Article 4 - Registration and User Account

To access all services, the user must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. The user agrees to:

• Provide truthful information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
• Immediately notify MATHFLOW of any unauthorized use of their account
• Update their information as necessary

Article 5 - User Obligations

The user agrees to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. The following is prohibited:

• Using the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Interfering with the operation of the Platform
• Attempting unauthorized access to MATHFLOW systems
• Reproducing, copying, or reselling any part of the services
• Distributing illegal, defamatory content or content that infringes third-party rights

Article 6 - Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform (texts, images, videos, logos, exercises, algorithms, etc.) is the exclusive property of MATHFLOW or its partners and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, modification, or exploitation of this content is strictly prohibited.

Article 7 - Personal Data Protection

MATHFLOW is committed to protecting its users' personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable privacy laws.

7.1 - Data Collected

In the course of using the Platform, MATHFLOW may collect the following personal data:

• Identification data: name, surname, email address
• Connection data: login credentials, connection logs
• Usage data: progress, exercise results, interactions with the AI coach
• Technical data: device type, operating system, IP address (anonymized)

7.2 - Anonymization and Storage

Personal data is stored in an anonymized manner and hosted exclusively on servers located in France, thus ensuring their protection in compliance with European legislation. No data transfer outside the European Union is carried out without adequate safeguards.

7.3 - Purpose of Processing

The data collected is used exclusively for:

• Providing and personalizing learning services
• Tracking user progress
• Improving the quality of services and user experience
• Communicating with the user (notifications, support)
• Complying with legal and regulatory obligations

7.4 - User Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

• Right of access: obtain a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure: request deletion of your data
• Right to portability: receive your data in a structured format

7.5 - Data Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the duration of account usage, then deleted within 3 years after the user's last activity, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Article 8 - Liability

MATHFLOW makes every effort to ensure the proper functioning of the Platform. However, MATHFLOW cannot be held liable for service interruptions, technical errors, or damages resulting from the use of the Platform.

Educational content is provided for informational purposes and cannot substitute for official school education.

Article 9 - Termination

The user may terminate their account at any time from their account settings or by contacting MATHFLOW by email at contact@mathflow.ai.

MATHFLOW reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in case of non-compliance with these Terms.

Article 10 - Modification of Terms

MATHFLOW reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial changes. Continued use of the Platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Article 11 - Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal action. Failing that, the courts of Lille, France shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
